While discussingJoe Giudice‘s loomingdeportation to Italyon Friday’s episode ofThe Wendy Williams Show, the talk show host urgedTeresa Giudiceto start her life without Joe.
“If I were Teresa, I wouldn’t even want him home at this point,” she said, adding that she hopes Teresa remains onThe Real Housewives of New Jersey. “I would not have him living in my house.”
And when it comes to the couple’s four daughters, Williams said they’re probably better off if their parents are happy.
“I am all about a family staying together,” she said. “But families don’t stay together because of the kids. In fact, sometimes it’s worse for the kids.”

It was revealed on Thursday that Joe is now one step closer to deportation as his appeal against the decision to deport him was denied.
“We are extremely disappointed that the Board of Immigration Appeals has denied Mr. Giudice’s appeal,” James J. Leonard Jr., the Giudice family attorney, told PEOPLE in a statement. “We have filed a stay with the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and will continue to fight to keep Mr. Giudice in the United States, the only country he knows, and reunite him with his wife and four daughters.”
Her personal rep issued a statement to PEOPLE, saying, “Thank you to everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during this time. Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together. No additional comment will be provided at this time.”

The divorce comes after Hunter allegedly fathered a child with his longtime mistress.
On Tuesday, Hunterbroke his silenceon the split in a statement to PEOPLE, admitting he was “not proud of my recent actions” and apologizing “to my wife, my family and her amazing fans.”
“I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs,” he said. “No matter what the outcome is or what the future holds, we are still The Hunter Family and I will continue to work with and fully support my wife in this business and through any and all obstacles she may face living her new life of sobriety, while I also work on mine.”

A source who has spent time with Williams since the breakup told PEOPLE that the daytime host believes Hunter’s alleged affair has beengoing on for more than a decade.
On Thursday, Hunter wasremoved from his position as an executive produceronThe Wendy Williams Show. Hunter had held an executive producer title for the showsince it debuted in 2008 and the two also share a production company,Wendy Williams Productions.
“Kevin Hunter is no longer an Executive Producer on theWendy WilliamsShow. Debmar-Mercury wishes him well in his future endeavors,” said the show’s spokesperson.
