Stephen “tWitch” Bosswould have turned 41 on Friday — even as his loved ones are still processing his unexpecteddeathless than a year ago.
His wifeAllison Holker Bossposted a memorial tribute onInstagramin the morning honoring her late husband’s legacy.
“We honor our beautiful, sweet, kind and loving Stephen tWitch Laurel Boss. Forever on our hearts and minds carrying us, guiding us and lifting us,” the post began.
Alongside photos of her and Stephen’sthree childrenvisiting his gravesite, she continued, “We feel your presence every day and will forever be grateful for the beautiful times we shared together. We feel your arms wrapping around us and holding us up on this day. Happy birthday my love@sir_twitch_alota day we will always celebrate the gift you were and still are to this world. We love you!”

The dancer, DJ and producer met Allison, 35, in 2010 when they appeared as all-stars on season 7 ofSo You Think You Can Dance. They eventuallytied the knotin a ceremony in Paso Robles, California, in 2013 and shared son Maddox Maddox as well as daughters Zaia and Weslie (Allison’s child from a previous relationship).
The day before Stephen’s birthday, Allison shared a carousel of family photos onInstagram.
“Life lately…,” she began the post. “So proud of my angels! Allowing love to stay in our hearts guiding us and leading us.”

Since Stephen’s death, Allison has honored her husband’s memory in several ways,announcing plansto release a children’s book the couple wrote together —Keep Dancing Through: A Boss Family Groove —on Jan. 16, 2024 and posting asweet Father’s Day postwith a photo of the family in June.

When thinking back on conversations around the dinner table, the dancer said her family would “have so many random conversations, and there was so much laughter,” adding that their love was “so real and so loud.”
“No one had any inkling that he was low. He didn’t want people to know,” Allison said. “He just wanted to be everyone’s Superman and protector.”
The mother of three also revealed thatshe and the kids still talk to Stephen, saying they believe he’s now among the stars.
“He’s guiding and he’s protecting,” she said. “We still feel his presence with us.”
