TheSouthern Charm-ers were back in Charleston on Thursday’s episode, and there sure was a lot of sweet tea to spill.
First off,Shep Rosefilled inWhitney Sudler-SmithandPatricia Altschulabout what happened between him, his exTaylor Ann Greenand the sheets during the guys' trip to his parents' home in North Carolina mountains.
“We just kissed,” claimed Shep, 43. “That’s all we did.”
But he wasn’t entirely forthcoming — in a confessional interview later, Shep said he thought Taylor, 28, wanted “a little more” but they didn’t want to backslide.
Taylor shared her theory about the kiss with Jarrett “JT” Thomas at the park.
“I think that the kiss might’ve been more of an apology,” she said.
JT, 38, questioned that. “You kiss people as an apology?” he asked Taylor.

Taylor called herself “the simp that goes running back” to her ex and said she “should have gotten a therapist” afterbreaking up with Shep. She also owned up to starting things up withAusten Kroll.
“I caught him off guard though, that was the thing,” Taylor said to JT about Austen, 36. “I initiated it. I take full responsibility for that.”
But the feelings never developed. “There could’ve been a real connection there but there just, there wasn’t,” Taylor said in a confessional.
The Day Chaser brand rep admitted she did it “to hurt Shep" more than everOlivia Flowers.

While Shep and Taylor reflected on the past,Craig Conovertalked to hisSummer Housestar girlfriendPaige DeSorboabouttheir future.
“I’ve always wanted a wife and children,” Craig, 34, said to Paige, 31, adding that he fantasized about marrying her.
Paigedidn’t feel a sense of urgency to tie the knot.
“Who you marry is the biggest decision of your f—ing life,” she said to Craig. “Also, we’ve only been together for a year and a half. You’ve got to really think about that. Like, I still feel like we’re young.”
THE GENTLEMAN’S DINNER RETURNS
Patricia, 82, wanted put on the annual Gentleman’s Dinner, but she took a fall and couldn’t host.
“I got out of bed at 5 in the morning and the next I knew I was flat on my back in excruciating pain on the floor,” Patricia said, explaining that she sustained a compression fracture of the spine.

“Taylor’s dog Penny is at my house and her car is at my house,” Shep announced during cocktail hour. “We had lunch today together.”
Shep denied sleeping with her when asked and reiterated that, in North Carolina, “we made out but then I passed out.”
Craig filled in Whitney about more of what happened on the trip, callingShep’s outburst“theatric.”

“You don’t have a big moral leg to stand on on this one,” Shep said to Austen.
“I feel f—ing bad, and I’ve been trying to atone,” Austen said.
Craig thought Shep had a right to be angry with Austen. “If someone hooked up with your f—ing ex-girlfriend, you’re going to be mad about it,” theSewing Down Southfounder said. “That’s the truth.”
When Craig and Shep talked privately, Shep told him he felt “it hurts too much to even broach the subject” of Taylor and Austen kissing.
Shep left, as did Rodrigo, and Craig, Austen and Whitney decided to smoke cigars in their matching smoking jackets. While Austen stepped away to urinate off the side of the balcony, Craig asked Whitney if he thought Austen and Taylor did more than kiss.
“I’m betting on f—ing,” Whitney said.
Austen overheard that andrefuted it. “We didn’t sleep together, and that’s it,” the TropHop beer founder said.

Whitney askedhow the kiss went down, and Austen said it happened when he and Taylor “were jamming.” Then, with Whitney’s help, Austen recreated the scene of dancing in his kitchen with Taylor.
“What did you think in that moment?” Whitney asked.
Austen confessed, “I felt not bad about it.”
