Paris Hiltonis celebrating a “lifetime of friendship” withNicole Richie.
The “Stars are Blind” singer, 42, wished her formerSimple Lifecostar a happy birthday with asentimental tribute on Instagramto their decades-long friendship. In doing so, Hilton shared a collection of photos of the pair together over the years.
Hilton started out her Instagram carousel with what appeared to be a more recent photo of the pair at her wedding to husbandCarter Reumin 2021. In the snap, Hilton, in her wedding dress, and Richie, in a black dress, smiled for a photograph together on the dance floor.
A second photo further in the carousel showed just how much fun they had at the event as they were snapped laughing with an arm around each other’s waist.
There was also no shortage of pictures of the two of them on their popular reality showThe Simple Life, with Hilton sharing a photo from one of their season promos in matching business suits and posing in casual wear on a farm. She also included a shot from one of the episodes, where the two grocery-shopped together. Additionally, there was a sweet snap of Richie kissing Hilton on the cheek.
“Happy Birthday@NicoleRichie! 🎈🎂🎈 Words can’t describe how grateful I am for our lifetime of friendship.🥰,” Hilton captioned the post. “When I look back on my life, so many of my most memorable and special memories were with you.🥹”
“No one makes me laugh the way you do, you are one of the most hilarious people on the planet.🤣 You are so much fun to be around.💗 You light up every room you walk into and have a heart of gold.💖,” she continued. “So lucky to have you in my life! Can’t wait to make more memories together!👯♀️ Sana saaaaa😹 Love you forever💕 ✨.”
She concluded the post with the hashtags “Thats Hot” and “Silly And Billy,” which are references to their former reality show.

The childhood friends, who starred onThe Simple Life from 2003 to 2007, have had their fair share of ups and downs throughout the years. Hilton and Richie infamouslyhad a falling outin 2005, which played out on the show and reportedly inspiredHilton’s 2006 song “Jealousy.”
The pair have since mended their friendship. However,Simple Lifefansshouldn’t expect a revival anytime soon— if ever.
“That show was what it was, and it was so much fun,” Richie toldEntertainment Weeklyin 2020. “But that concept wouldn’t even work in this moment because, remember, we’d leave our lives for a month, and we didn’t have any phones. No phones in this day and age just doesn’t work!”
