Kate Middletondoesn’t pass up the chance to dance.
The Princess of Wales, 41, has traveled around the world for various royal engagements since marryingPrince Williamin 2011 — and sometimes, the job calls for a little boogie.
The clip playfully begins with Kate’sstealthy steptowardsQueen Margretheof Denmark during a visit to Copenhagen in February 2022. The British royal discreetly moved towards the monarch to create a better picture during a photo call at Amalienborg Castle, and TikTok users later christened it “the princess shuffle” in a resurfaced snippet this spring.

Another clip shows Princess Kate trying a traditional dance with local women in Tuvalu during a tour withPrince WilliamforQueen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012. The video then flashed to snippets of Kate dancing at the National Maritime Museum, twirling with Paddington Bear at Paddington Station in 2017, conducting music withPrince GeorgeandPrincess Charlottein Wales in 2022 and singing during a school visit with Place2Be in 2012.
The clip closed with what might be Kate’s most deliberate shimmy of all. During a lighthearted stop of what proved to be acontroversial Caribbean tourfor Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in March 2022, William and Kate showed off their moves during a traditional Garifuna festival in Belize.

The couple danced the “punta” while immersing themselves in the Garifuna culture, and one local woman said they fit right in.
“They are an amazing couple and we would love them to come any time with their children Charlotte, George and Louis,” Laura Cacho, who helped host the visit,told PEOPLEat the time. “They really know how to dance. They took the culture from me and I didn’t need to teach them. They’re so good at it. They were excellent.”
The Prince and Princess of Wales might have passed down the passion to at least one of their kids: Princess Charlotte! The couple has referenced their only daughter’slove of danceseveral times through the years, and Kate most recently spoke about Charlotte’s interest during asolo stopin Leeds and Lancaster in September.

During a chat with 7-year-old Emily May Catto at Standfast & Barracks printworks, the Princess of Wales asked the youngster what she liked to do. When Emily replied that she enjoyed dancing, Kate told her that her 8-year-old daughter is also into the activity.
“My daughter Charlotte likes dancing. She loves ballet and tap,” Princess Kate said, according toHello!magazine. “Keep up the dancing.”
Princess Charlotte recently showed a glimpse of her dance moves at theCoronation Concertin May. The young royal joined the rest of the crowd instanding up and dancingalong to Lionel Richie as he performed his hit “All Night Long” from the stage set up on the Windsor Castle grounds.
The little princess has also takenprivate ballet lessons at a dance school, and Kate and Charlotte have had mother-daughter outings to seeprofessional ballet performances.
“She looked so excited to be there and sat very still, watching the show,” an onlooker previously told PEOPLE. “They were the only ones in the audience. It was very sweet.”

“George is doing dancing as well, he loves it," Prince William said in 2018.
The siblings now attendLambrook School(along with 5-year-old brotherPrince Louis), which even has a dance studio as part of the performing arts program.
“My mother always used to dance, she loved dancing,” William once said. “And if it’s something you love, you do what you love. Don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. Keep at it."
