As a lifelike progression from Google Earth and Google Sky , the Mountain View monolith now plans to create 3D map of the Earth ’s ocean and seas and make it available via Google Ocean . The computer software will allow users to voyage the aquatic bottom and see the topography that exists down there . Google also plans to let in interactive data about various matter such as weather convention , coral reefs , shipwreck and current . The end for Google Ocean is to use as much high resolution photography of the underwater terrain as possible , offering more than just a single-valued function . But investigator say such a process could take upward of 100 years .
