The 2002Britney Spears-led coming-of-age road-trip dramedy is returning to the big screen for two nights only, Oct. 23 and 25, to coincide with the release of Spears' memoirThe Woman in Me.

“With barely a plan, practically no money but plenty of dreams, the girls catch a lift with Mimi’s handsome friend Ben (Anson Mount) in his convertible,” an official synopsis reads. “Along the way they not only gather experiences that will change their lives, but they also discover how important it is to hold onto their hearts' desires.”
Aside from Spears, 41, Saldaña, 45, Manning, 44, Aykroyd, 71, Cattrall, 67, and Mount, 50, the movie also featuresJamie Lynn Spearsas young Lucy andJustin Longas Henry, one of Lucy’s friends with whom she went to prom and had a brief fling.
In a 2022 interview withEntertainment Tonight, Long, 45, recalled how “normal and easygoing” Spears was while filming her big-screen debut, adding thatshe was “disarmingly down-to-earth.”

Crossroadswill play across 875 movie theaters in 24 countries, and feature a bonus singalong of Spears' two songs from the film.
Just ahead of its theatrical re-release, the movie’s soundtrack,Crossroads: Special Edition, will be shared to streaming services on Oct. 20. The soundtrack will contain the classic songs that viewers know and love, plus the addition of three new Spears remixes: “Overprotected (Richi Lopez Remix),” “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman (Snakehips Remix)” and “I Love Rock ‘N Roll (Frank Walker Remix).”
“AMC Theatres in 20 cities will also offer a special VIP screening of the film the evening of Oct. 23 only that includes a special edition ofThe Woman in Mebook with event ticket purchase,” according to an official release.
