Varietyis reporting that Swiss director Hibon has sign on to direct Pan , a dark retelling of the Peter Pan pouf tale . Originally intended for Guillermo del Toro , “ the motion-picture show puts a obscure whirl on J.M. Barrie ’s “ Peter Pan , ” with Captain Hook as a haunted former police investigator in hobby of a childlike kidnapper — an idea we love . Say what you will about Tinkerbell , Peter Pan nobble tons and tons of children to form his troupe of “ lost boy , ” orphaned or not , and it ’s creepy-crawly .
