While the designer didn’t specify what incident inspired her post, the clap back came after there was some scrutiny of a clip she shared fromHome Townthat features her young niece, Nell. Erin and her husband Benlimit their own your daughters' — Helen, 4, and Mae, 9 months — public presenceand don’t show their faces on social media.

In response, Napier acknowledged that it happens because she is trying to move the show forward but she is “self conscious” about the behavior.
Napier is no stranger to taking a stand against social media bullying.
In December 2020, she wrote acandid postexplaining how to be “a decent person on social media” after trollscriticized her daughter’s hair.

She shared asimilar sentimentearlier that year, telling followers her page is not to “be mean and critical.”
