Class will broadcast in the UK on BBC 3 , and is written by YA novelist Patrick Ness , best known for the Chaos Walking trilogy … and it sound like the strangest premiss for a Who spinoff . No intimate characters were denote , just that the serial will follow teenage student at Coal Hill School ( where companions Ian , Barbara , and now Clara have all run as teachers ) in the dotty earthly concern of Doctor Who , where monster and alien shenanigans are threatening the domain on a everyday basis .
