The plaster bandage of NBC ’s Constantine TV series has expand , and now we know three new case who will team up up with , be annoyed by and invariably regret eff the titular thaumaturgist . And that includes an actual angel played by a former Lost castaway .
The new cast members include Harold Perrineau , True line of descent ’s Lucy Griffiths , and Charles Halford , most latterly see as the very unpleasant Reggie LeDoux on True Detective . Here ’s the graphic symbol descriptions fromDeadline :
When Liv ( Griffiths ) , the daughter of a late friend , is targeted by demons , Constantine steps in to save her . Griffith ’ Liv is an offbeat untried woman tired of her average biography who arrive to get a line that she has the power of look the supernatural human race among us , which have her a central thespian in the fight between in effect and evilness . Liv teams up with Constantine to preserve lives , master her power , and watch more about her late begetter .

Perrineau will play Manny , an authoritative holy person assigned to watch over Constantine who has the power to pace into other people ’s trunk , and although he is meant only to watch over , Manny will not hesitate to help oneself out if he can save a life .
Halford will play Chas , Constantine ’s oldest supporter and unswerving companion who possesses powerful selection skills that might possibly be supernatural .
I do n’t think this is defective , just unexpended . I ’m used to Constantine being an inveterate loner , mostly because he ’s an unrepentant SOB and no one can bear to be around him for more than a few minute . But a TV serial publication plainly needs to give him some literal crony , because otherwise the show would just be 45 minutes of Constantine smoking and drinking .
