Re / code confirms the assertion . Nine is certainly a small number give the 10 million iPhones Apple sold ( though it ’s not exonerated how many of those were 6 versus 6 Plus ) in just the first three twenty-four hours it was available . And one would imagine that if the mere act of carrying the phone around in your pocket were enough to bend your big phone , it would have happened to more multitude by now .
But it ’s still not clear what “ unremarkable exercise ” means to Apple , and it ’s still a skill fact that an aluminum rectangle as grandiloquent and thin as the iPhone 6 Plus ( or any of a number of turgid smartphones ) is belong to be prone to some bending if handled sharply , even ones with thin steel reinforcement .
So yes , under brutal treatment , the iPhone 6 Plus will definitely bend more than other French telephone as evidenced by this highly unscientific trial :
But the question now is whether the young telephone set is so fragile that it ca n’t stand up to the routine pocketing , phone and texting you expect a sound to weather .
