One of the biggest reasons to be aroused about Joss Whedon ’s S.H.I.E.L.D. show is the comeback of Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson . But what if the serial publication does n’t get picked up by ABC ?
In an audience withCrave Online , the actor reveals that the small screen might be the only station we see Agent Smith . And if ABC does n’t pick up this serial , we may never see him again .
“ I do n’t know . They have n’t told me . Honestly , they have n’t told me the answer yet . I certainly would be sad if it did n’t because I have a feel it would mean that Coulson did n’t live anymore . But yeah , I recollect we made a good pilot . Joss knows what he ’s doing , and other writers , his brother Jed and Jed ’s wife Maurissa are amazing . I think we ’ve got a shot . ”
Then again , Whedon famously asked Gregg to be in the Avengers while wing at San Diego Comic - Con so we know he likes to act it tight and free . Do n’t make us send you fucking Captain American trading cards , ABC !
